Agriculture development means both the maintenance of a higher level of agricultural output over an extended length of time and a clearly noticeable improvement in agricultural production in a short amount of time. The dwarf and early-maturing variants, along with the miraculous seeds, have abruptly changed Indian agriculture. Haryana's agricultural expansion has increased agricultural production significantly but at the expense of degrading the land and water resources. Due to the use of large quantities of fertilisers and pesticides throughout the Agriculture Development Period, intensive agriculture has continuously increased agricultural productivity. One of the greatest cropping states in India is Haryana, and since the beginning of agricultural development, crop production and productivity of key crops have improved significantly. However, due to the adoption of modern farming techniques, the state is now only able to grow wheat and rice. Additionally, it has led to waterlogged deserts, pest-infested crops, overexploited groundwater, and unhealthy soil. The influence of agriculture growth on Haryana's economic development is discussed in the current publications.
