Abstract:

India deserves a rich heritage that talks about its glorious past. Our ancestors have preserved our culture and monumental heritage for centuries so we should maintain that tradition. Our heritage connects us to our roots and tells us what we really are. Indian heritage dates back many centuries. It is huge and vibrant. We have given importance to our culture and tradition since the beginning and have preserved it beautifully for our future generations. India is a country with different cultures and traditions. People of different religions and sects live here. Everyone has their own customs and traditions. The culture followed by every religious group has deep embedded roots and unwavering faith in them. Festivals, dance forms, music and various other art forms of each religion have their own charm. The beauty of our culture is that we not only have respect for our own heritage but also show respect for the heritage of other religions, that is why the vivid Indian heritage has survived for centuries. Indian customs and traditions encourage us to remain polite, respect others and live harmoniously in society. We give great importance to our customs and traditions. Various art forms like various types of classical dance, music, and painting also form a part of our heritage. Bharatnatyam, Kathak, Kuchipudi and Odissi are some of the famous Indian dance forms. India has contributed in the fields of Carnatic music, Thumri, Rabindra sangeet, Odissi and folk music. Madhubani painting, Mughal painting, Tanjore painting, Mysore painting, and Pahari painting are some of the beautiful forms of paintings originating in India. Every monument of India is known for its amazing architecture. Taj Mahal, Qutub Minar, Red Fort, Ajanta and Ellora caves, Buddhist monuments of Sanchi, Hawa Mahal of Jaipur and Mysore Palace are some of the heritage monuments of our country. Our cultural traditions, monuments, literature and various arts form part of our heritage. These have been appreciated all over the world. We are blessed with a beautiful heritage. We are proud to be a part of a country with such a vibrant culture. The young generation should be progressive towards preserving the cultural heritage of India. We all should take it as our responsibility to preserve it so that our future generations also get to see and experience the same.
