Abstract:

The intrepid youth of Bengal risked their lives in an armed struggle against the British rule in the wake of the Agni Yuga revolution. Many of them went to jail in iron chains, some went to exile for life. And for whom the British Government is fearful—their heart is a different and more severe punishment—hanging. Yes, this hanging seemed to have made the boys of Bengal more excited. Unable to bear the humiliation of the motherland at the hands of foreigners, pistols, bombs and guns came up in the hands of many. Like other parts of Bengal then Nadia district also played a considerable role. This revolutionary activity of Nadia was accelerated by the appearance of Basantkumar Biswas, the heroic revolutionary of Nadia.
