Abstract:

India gained independence on August 15, 1947. This part, which was divided into many princely states, was united by the then Home Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Later, there was a big movement to create a united Maharashtra. And this led to the formation of a united Maharashtra on May 1, 1960. After the creation of an independent state, the development of this state was a big question in front of everyone. If this state was to be developed, the political leaders here should have adopted regional equality and proved their effective leadership. The development of the state should be done by maintaining regional balance. The development of only Pune, Mumbai and Nagpur will not be considered as the development of the entire Maharashtra. Today, there are many districts in Marathwada like Hingoli, Parbhani, Osmanabad in this state. Where there is still a huge backlog of development. If the entire Maharashtra is to be developed, it is more necessary to have development politics in this area. From the perspective of politics, development politics is a good concept. And caste politics is also dangerous from the perspective of politics. The present research article has reviewed the development politics of Maharashtra. Along with this, the new concepts and challenges that have come into question in politics have been discussed. Till date, many writers and researchers have written research articles on the politics of development. While writing these articles, some emphasized development. Some considered comparative thought. While some considered Western comparative thought. In the present research, the importance of development politics, the challenges in this development politics, the need for development politics and the changing nature of development politics have been discussed. In this research, the research descriptive method has been used. In this, a clinical study of current politics has been conducted. Also, some aspects of the politics of the seventies and eighties have been examined.
