Abstract:

The present age is the age of information technology. While progress in the field of science and technology has almost eliminated geographical and temporal distances, man is facing tough challenges in every sphere of life on the national and international scene. Keeping this in view, it has become necessary to use technical resources such as digital education, smart class, e-learning, self-reliant teaching-learning and teaching innovation to improve the all-round development and achievement level of the child. Technical resources such as computer, internet, social media, mobile etc. make teaching-student interaction more interesting, smooth and effective. By using new technologies i.e. information technology resources, teachers can benefit students more, can help them in making their lives simple and endowed with contemporary qualities. While the traditional education system has been teacher-centric, information technology-based education ensures active participation of students.
