This study investigates the evolution and intellectual structure of research on hotel performance over the period 2010–2025. Drawing on 822 publications retrieved from the Scopus database, a bibliometric analysis was conducted using VOSviewer software to visualize and interpret key research patterns. The analysis examines publication trends, citation structures, co-authorship networks, and keyword co-occurrence to identify dominant themes and emerging research fronts. Results reveal a substantial rise in scholarly output after 2015, reflecting the expanding academic and managerial interest in hotel performance evaluation. Major research clusters focus on areas such as service quality and customer satisfaction, financial and operational efficiency, sustainability and green practices, technological innovation, and the influence of digital transformation. Collaboration analysis highlights the growing contribution of Asian and European institutions, indicating an increasingly globalised research community. The findings provide an integrated overview of the knowledge base and offer guidance for future research directions in hospitality management. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of how hotel performance research has evolved and where it is likely to advance in the coming decade.
