Abstract:

Developing a country into a great country is only possible if it has dedicated and competent teachers who gives the right knowledge, skills and abilities. Sustainable means a long-term or long-term process. Sustainable Development is a major goal of a future-oriented society. Education plays an important role in achieving this goal. Education and sustainable development are relevant because they address more issues related to well-managed lives, justice and equality in society, constant economic growth, and social progress. It guides people to comply with social rules and regulations and helps prepare responsible citizens. So, when teacher educators sow students the seeds of sustainable development, their roots permeate deep into society. Hence this article is written to through some light on the role played by a teacher for sustainable development.
