Abstract:

The online examination system is an easy and simple way to conduct exams online compared to offline exams. The online exams can be conducted with the help of internet, intranet, or local network environment which makes each and every work quiet smooth. Anyone can give such exams through software and can also collect the responses quickly. The problems which are faced during online examination are poor network connection which causes delay in work like difficult in making results and keeping records. But in the exams sometimes teachers cannot focus on each and every student so students can neglect the rules by any type of malpractices. This is a descriptive research and sample size will be 500. Survey will be done through Questionnaire method. Online exams consumeless time, money and material also it is user friendly for people. We just require a device and network connection to run the exams properly. Students who live far from their schools or colleges found easy to give exams online instead of wasting time and cost in travelling. But some students face difficulty in adapting the new technology and they don’t get such resources to take education and to give exams online with a device. Even the students get such resources, some of them use it in the wrong manner. Online exams have more scope to gain more marks in exams for students. So our research will make it more clear that what is more preferable online or offline exams by the students and teachers both. This study describes the online education system and its effect on student’s academic performance, attitude and satisfaction level.
