The integration of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) into modern education has garnered significant attention, especially following the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which emphasizes the inclusion of indigenous knowledge in curricula. This study explores the relevance and potential impact of incorporating IKS into contemporary educational frameworks. Through a qualitative case study approach, we examine 15 instances where IKS has been integrated into educational settings, analyzing outcomes related to cultural preservation, student engagement, and holistic development. Our findings suggest that embedding IKS within modern education not only enriches the learning experience but also fosters a deeper connection to India's cultural heritage, promoting critical thinking and sustainability.
